About
David Baldwin // visual artist and experimental musician.
David’s acrylic on canvas paintings are about personal honesty, letting go of the trickery of technique, and allowing ideas and feelings to come to the surface in the most distilled, pure manner. Simple shapes and colors create feelings and movement that evoke the complexities hidden inside the simple. Ultimately these works are all about being fun and easy to live with!
Baldwin has been painting his entire life and is excited to take his work to the next level. Also, he’s an avid cyclist and musician. If not painting or riding his bike around Sonoma County, he is creating music under the name “Unhowto,” which is available through all streaming platforms, check it out.
Born and raised in Southern California, David now resides in Santa Rosa, California
